Student Care Services

Concerned about a student’s well-being?
Student Care Services provides support for students navigating personal, emotional, or financial challenges. Care coordinators help students connect with resources and build self-advocacy skills.

Common concerns include:

  • Mental health challenges
  • Medical or physical health issues
  • Grief or loss of a loved one
  • Relationship or family conflict
  • Food, housing, or financial insecurity
  • Safety concerns or interpersonal violence

Academic Misconduct

Need to report academic misconduct?
Faculty, staff, or students should use the Alleged Academic Misconduct Report (AAMR) form to document issues such as plagiarism, cheating, or unauthorized collaboration.

Academic Advocacy

If you know a student who needs academic assistance, complete the Student of Concern form and selected “Academic Concern/Barrier” from the behaviors list.

Academic Advocates work proactively with undergraduate students to remove barriers adversely affecting their persistence (the ability to continue their studies without interruption), and timely degree completion (the ability to graduate on time).

Undergraduate students may receive direct outreach from an Academic Advocate due to active monitoring of student academic behavior information or referrals by Faculty, Staff, or other members of the UCF community.

Hazing

Hazing is a serious matter and if you feel you, or someone you know has been hazed, you can report the hazing by submitting a Hazing Reporting Form and/or file a report with the UCF Police Department by calling the non-emergency line at 407-823-5555. All reports of hazing will be directed for investigation to the appropriate department depending on the nature of the report.

Don’t be a bystander when it comes to hazing!

Student Conduct

Student Conduct and Academic Integrity handles concerns against University of Central Florida students and student groups but not faculty or staff. The concern must indicate a possible violation of one or more of the Code of Conduct or Conduct Regulations of Student Organizations located in the Golden Rule Student Handbook. This report is utilized for alleged violations of the Code of Conduct that do not involve academic misconduct.

Title IX

If you’ve experienced sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, sexual and interpersonal violence, stalking, or sexual exploitation, you can find resources, support, and reporting options here. Together, Knights can end sex-based violence.
